Refund & Return Policy

We want every Purple Butterfly Books purchase to bring joy to your little reader. If something isn't right, we're here to help.
Returns
We accept returns on physical books within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging.
To initiate a return, please contact us at hello@purplebutterlybooks.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide instructions on where to send the item.
Please note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, damaged item, etc.).
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email of the status of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
If 10 business days have passed and you have not received your refund, please first check with your bank or card issuer, then contact us if the issue persists.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@purplebutterlybooks.com with a photo of the damage. We will send a replacement at no charge or issue a full refund — your choice.
Wrong Item Received
If you received the wrong item, please contact us immediately. We will cover return shipping and send the correct item as quickly as possible.
Non-Returnable Items
Gift cards and downloadable digital products (if applicable) are non-returnable and non-refundable.
